Ok, so this is pretty young too but I have to suggest this because of the exceptional quality and the impressive price tag. Henri Jouan is seriously one of the best kept secrets in Burgundy - a close friend of the legendary Jacky Truchot who sold his domaine in 2005, we've thrown off many in blind tastings who have shouted Truchot on their first taste. Based in Morey St Denis, Philippe Jouan runs this domaine today & the winemaking is largely unchanged with old oak, 100% destemming and cool fermentations in concrete. This is a very expressive Clos Saint Denis, despite its youth, and I can only suggest you stock up before the word is out!
