Loire Valley, located in western France, is a wine region that offers diversity of exceptional wines. It's also the third-largest appellation in France, right after Bordeaux and Burgundy.
With 51 appellations, the Loire Valley boasts a diverse terroir shaped by a mix of continental and maritime climates stretching from the west coast of Brittany to central France near Champagne and Chablis. The hero grape varieties are Chenin blanc of Anjou, Saumur and Vouvray, Sauvignon blanc of Sancerre and Pouilly-fumé, Cabernet Franc of Saumur Champaginy, Bourgeuil and Chinon and Melon de Bourgogne from Muscadet.
In our portfolio, we often feature Loire producers who are iconic in their work to promote exception quality - Louis Benjamin/ Didier Dagueneau, Clos Rougeard, Guiberteau, Thierry Germain, Alexandre Bain, Nicolas Joly, Château de Fosse-Sèche and Thibaud Boudignon.
