Security Alert: Protecting Against Payment Scams
Dear Valued Customers,
We would like to inform you of a recent security incident involving one of our employee email accounts. A team member’s email account was compromised, and as a result, some customers may have received fraudulent requests to send us payments to a new personal bank account.
Our banking information has not changed. Payments should not be sent to a personal bank account nor to any new bank account.
We have taken immediate action to address this issue. We have secured the affected email account, strengthened our cybersecurity measures, and are confident that the breach has been contained. This was not a breach of our systems - the email account was compromised individually.
How to confirm payment requests are from us
Official payment requests will always:
- To our registered company bank details (never to a personal account)
- Match the invoice format you've received from us before

3. Reach out to your Relationship Manager via their Whatsapp or phone
There have been other reports from other wine merchants that this is happening to them too. Please be careful. The trust and security of our customers are of the utmost importance to us.
