Clos des Cistes
The "CLOS DES CISTES" is a blend of 85% Syrah and 15% Grenache. It is grown on a coastal, argilo-limestone terroir at an altitude of 200 meters. The grapes are manually harvested and sorted on a sorting table. The wine is vinified in concrete tanks, undergoing a long maceration process. It is then aged with 70% in a tank and 30% in a foudre, and bottled after 10 years of aging.

Peyre Rose Coteaux du Languedoc Clos des Cistes 2002 & 2006
"A big, ripe and voluptuous Syrah, with some maturity, the 2002 Languedoc Clos de Cistes has lots of currants, black raspberry, iodine and roasted meat-like aromas and flavors. Sweetly fruit, with full-bodied richness and a decadent, yet concentrated and balanced profile, it’s hard to resist now, but should also hold through 2020.” ~ Jeb Dunnuck, 93Points, Wine Advocate

Marlene No.3
The "MARLENE N ° 3" is made up of 60% Syrah and 40% Grenache. Grown on a coastal, argilo-limestone terroir at an altitude of 200 meters, the grapes are manually harvested and sorted on a sorting table. The wine is vinified in concrete tanks, undergoing a long maceration process. It is then aged with 70% in a tank and 30% in a foudre, and bottled after 10 years of aging. The first vintage of this cuvée was in 2003.

Peyre Rose Coteaux du Languedoc Marlene No.3 2003 & 2006
“Showing hints of over ripeness aromatically, the 2003 Languedoc Marlene No 3 has lots of plum, blackberry liqueur and licorice, full-bodied richness and a sweet, layered, decadent style on the palate. This won’t be for everyone given the uber-ripe style, but it certainly dishes out tons of pleasure. There’s still some tannin lurking under all the fruit as well, so I suspect it will continue evolving nicely.” ~Jeb Dunnuck, 93 Points, Wine Advocate

Syrah Leone
The "SYRAH LEONE" contains 90% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre. It is cultivated on a coastal, argilo-limestone terroir at an altitude of 200 meters. The grapes are manually harvested and sorted on a sorting table. The wine is vinified in concrete tanks, undergoing a long maceration process. It is then aged with 70% in a tank and 30% in a foudre, and bottled after 10 years of aging. This wine is named after the former owner of the property, signifying the Spanish migration to the area in 1936. Marlène explained that the Spanish first lived in the hills and then settled in the village of St. Pargoire in the 1960s, leading to several ruined buildings in the garrigues. Originally all her wine was aged in vat, but she now has some foudres for Cuvée Leone.

Peyre Rose Coteaux du Languedoc Syrah Leone 2002 & 2006
“The 2002 Languedoc Syrah Leone has a salty, marine like minerality to go with a core of sweet fruit, saddle leather and assorted meatiness. Perfumed and complex aromatically, it doesn’t lose a beat on the palate and is full-bodied, voluptuous and rich, as well as with knockout focus and length on the finish. Count me impressed and this beauty will have two decades or more over overall longevity.” ~Jeb Dunnuck, 94 Points, Wine Advocate
