"Dominated by Sémillon, this is a rich, creamy wine. Produced by the heirs of the late Denis Dubourdieu, who was the top Bordeaux exponent of white wines, the wine has the crisp texture as well as the ripe character that was his hallmark. Showing touches of wood, plenty of citrus and creamed apples the wine will be ready to drink from late 2019." - Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, 92 Points

Nicknamed the Pope of White Wine, Professor Denis Dubourdieu was the man behind this small chateau situated in Graves, right next to the Barsac region. Among his many accolades, Dubourdieu is best known for revolutionizing the quality of white wines across Bordeaux, and the modern, refreshing dry styles we all know today owe much of its success to this man. He was a winemaker, consultant and also a Professor at the University of Bordeaux, passing his deep knowledge to two generations of winemakers, and advised many of the top chateaux around Bordeaux, including Margaux, Cheval Blanc and Yquem.
